Grand Hotel Sopot, Poland

The Grand Hotel Sopot was built between 1924 and 1927 when the city, then considered to be the Monaco of the Baltic, was in full bloom. Throughout its history the hotel has been synonymous with style and elegance, and the guest book is replete with eminent persons of the 20th century.

During the last few years the hotel has been completely refurbished, and while, to a great extent, the original classical style has been preserved, the image of the hotel has been refreshed with modern elements as well. In a desire for the most modern and economic ventilation systems, those responsible for the renovations decided on building-in Hidria’s mechanical air flow volume controllers MRP. One could also say that though this pearl of Polish architecture shines with its former lustre, it breathes in an altogether new fashion.
