Hidria is entering 2015 with stability and profitable growth

Hidria ended 2014 with stable sales and a positive result. During the year, it signed major new deals with the biggest players in the automotive industry, such as Audi, BMW, PSA Peugeot Citro├źn and John Deere, as well as in the industrial segment, where it is focusing on boosting its cooperation with the Danish Grundfos.

At the same time, the company is finalising its arrangements with partner banks to carry out a financial and operational restructuring that will allow profitable growth and new breakthrough innovations. Hidria is determined to realise its 2015–2018 development strategy, which is an ambitious but achievable plan: to increase the company’s revenue from €260m to €350m by 2018.

Focusing on and strengthening its Automotive and Industrial Technology divisions represents a vital part of the 2015–2018 development strategy. Hidria also plans to gradually sell off its remaining non-operating assets. In line with this, Hidria recently sold GIF, which is based in Freiburg, Germany, and its subsidiary in Prague, the Czech Republic. GIF had been part of the Hidria Corporation since 2006 and is a leading producer of ventilated ceilings for professional kitchens in Europe and globally. Since this activity is no longer part of Hidria’s development strategy, GIF was sold to the German company’s long-time management, allowing Hidria to focus on and expand its key programme – the Automotive division.
