The Sixth Istrian Marathon, the second-largest marathon in Slovenia, was held last weekend in the coastal area. Many of our colleagues and colleagues ran the 9.5, 21 and 42- kilometre runs and again demonstrated their persistence and strength.

Last Saturday and Sunday excellent weather and exceptional panoramic views attracted 5500 female and male runners to the coastal area. Among them there were more than 120 of our colleagues and their family members with Hidria shirts. They all have proven that they did not sleep during the winter as their form is excellent. Especially among the fastest. The best among Hidria’s people were Taja Šuligoj and Egon Peroša at the 9.5-kilometre run and Jana Prezelj and Dejan Lipušček at the 21-kilometre run.

Every year, the Istrian Marathon brings together numerous fans of running and their fans and supporters. This year, more than 20 thousand came in total. This Marathon is truly a unique event worth attending, as its route is really special. It passes two landscape parks, and the runners run along the sea for most of the time. Hidria is happy to support such activities, as we are convinced that a healthy spirit in a healthy body contributes significantly to the quality of life and work.
