Hidria marks 20 years of activity in Jesenice (Slovenia). To strengthen and upgrade the good cooperation with the main automotive manufacturers and manufacturers of industrial technology, the corporation opened a modern technology centre for the maintenance of production tools. And through the strategic project Building partnerships for champions of tomorrow it supports hockey in Jesenice.

In Jesenice, we have been for 20 years now strategically developing and producing key parts for modern electric motors, without which the life as we know it today would not exist.  Staff with a long-standing technical tradition, know-how and competence and good logistical connections are some of the reasons why Hidria has grown steadily in Jesenice during these years, acquiring new, increasingly complex projects with renowned names from the automotive and industrial world. The Jesenice plant currently employs around 150 people.

Green mobility and environmental awareness are highlighted in Jesenice. The growth of electromobility strengthens the global production of electric and hybrid vehicles, which in turn increases the demand for such innovative solutions. Suppliers of industrial air-conditioning systems, heating, cooling, and electrical hand tools also expect only the best, most efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Jesenice plant we opened a modern technology centre for the maintenance of production tools as an important foundation for the further development of this location.

Wherever we are present, we also invest in the local community, as many of our employees come from it. So, we launched the project Building partnerships for champions of tomorrow. It supports the development of young talents and their activities. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary in Jesenice, we donated composite hockey sticks, T-shirts and caps to young hockey players, as a contribution to the future of hockey in Jesenice. We signed a letter of intent with both hockey clubs (HD Jesenice and HDD Jesenice) to express our support for hockey in Jesenice. We also offer hockey players from Jesenice support for scholarships, practical expert work and employment in the context of Hidria’s needs.
