Opportunities for young people

Technical jobs are interesting with good prospects but are often pushed to one side in the education process. We are thus developing new approaches to trigger interest in them already at primary school level. Young people get to know the activities of Hidria through various projects and can better understand the opportunities a technical education brings.

Cooperation during studies

With our Career Clubs we help primary school students make their first career choice. Our Research Camps bring the natural and technical sciences and social sciences closer to young people. For students in secondary and higher education, we organise lectures and workshops and allow them to visit our production and our high-tech institutes. They can also engage in practical training at our company and conduct their summer and research work at our companies in Slovenia and abroad.

We work together with universities on research and trainings and participate at various career events.

Scholarships for students

We provide scholarships for students in secondary and higher education who already know they want to realise their professional path and vision at Hidria. We grant most of them to students of the technical and natural sciences, particularly future mechanical engineers, mechanical engineering technicians, electrical engineers, electrical engineering technicians, mechanics-operators, etc. We help them to prepare their seminar, research and diploma papers and inform them about employment possibilities every year.
