The 11th international Blechexpo trade fair was held from 5 to 8 November 2013 in Stuttgart. Held every other year, the sheet metal working fair was organised for the first time ever in collaboration with the Coilex fair, which is dedicated to technologies and materials for manufacturing electric motors.

In an area of over 900,000 square metres, there were over a thousand exhibitors – manufacturers of machining equipment, tools and products. This time, Hidria’s presentation focused on technologies for fine blanking and on its programme for laminations using electromagnetic sheet metal. As part of the fine blanking programme, Hidria offers components for various applications in the automotive industry and others.

The Blechexpo trade fair is the leading one of its kind in Europe and second in the world. It is ideally complemented by Schweisstec, the international fair specialising in joining technologies. Together with the Coilex fair, it offers a comprehensive overview of the processes involved in sheet metal processing.
