The eCarTec, a leading electric mobility trade fair, was held in Munich from 15 to 17 October 2013 and Hidria was among the exhibitors with its innovative solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles. This year’s performance places Hidria on par with all the leading manufacturers of electric vehicles.

The central focus of Hidria’s presentation was on technologies and innovative solutions for the electrification of drive systems of modern vehicles or laminations for electrical machines. As a provider of system solutions, Hidria also showcased its aluminium products.

In light of green mobility, electric drive vehicles are also gaining ground in the segment of small delivery vans and vehicles intended for public transport. Despite this though, this year’s eCarTec showed a dramatic rise in the application of system solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, especially in the premium class where manufacturers are betting mainly on the target customers being less sensitive to the prices of the vehicles. Hidria is also focusing on the development of system solutions for the hybridisation and electrification of premium-brand vehicles. We have thus recently acquired several nominations in this area and Hidria’s solutions will, among others, be installed in the new hybrid C-Class and E-Class Mercedes vehicles.
