Hidria appreciates knowledge and competence; therefore, we are already training future leaders at our Leadership Academy. 17 of our young colleagues gathered at an interesting workshop in Sp. Idrija where they acquired the newest leadership skills.

Hidria’s Leadership Academy is intended for all our young colleagues who have a potential and the wish to lead Hidria in the future. In this way we give them access to this specific knowledge and, with the help of experts and our established leaders, show them the world of leadership and leadership processes.

This meeting was the first out of the seven planned. The aim of these meetings is to create several generations of future leaders.

17 young people gathered at our first workshop. They got advice directly from our experienced manager and Director of Hidria Holding Dr Iztok Seljak; he presented them the basics of setting up Hidria’s strategy. Blaž Kos from Inhouse Consulting presented the theoretical aspect of building a strategy. With this new knowledge they then tried to create a classical and agile strategy for practical cases – our Hidria Lamtec and Dieseltec business units.

With these trainings we create competent leaders who will have the knowledge and ability to responsibly lead their teams in the long run. At the same time, we also create connections, new acquaintances between individuals and business units. All meetings are designed in such a way that the young people can use their new knowledge right away in their daily work.
