The main spare parts fair Automechanika 2022 was held in Frankfurt; we were present with our spare parts programme, i.e., the aftermarket. This segment is gaining importance in Hidria’s sales programme; it has been recording a significant growth in sales in the last two years and has very promising plans for the future.

Together with our Spanish partners in the LIFE HIDAQUA project within the framework of the EU environmental LIFE programme, we visited the construction of a prototype water treatment plant in Barcelona for preparing drinking water and recycling waste, well and rain water. We will start using it in our Technology Park in Koper in September.

After almost three years we were back in Milan, at the international summer fair which brings together the most important suppliers and manufacturers of air conditioning, heating and cooling systems and devices. We presented our new energy-efficient EAGLE fan for the first time at this fair.

We received a visit from international partners from the EU SOPHIA project. In the context of our common project, we test the functioning of exoskeletons and look for ways to best cooperate with collaborative robots in the production process, in order to alleviate the physical exertion of employees.

Hidria was presented at the Euroguss fair, which is considered the largest European trade fair event in casting technologies. In Nuremberg, we presented ourselves as an important link in the supply chain of aluminium parts for the automotive industry. We also received a visit of our important partners from the Bosch Corporation.

Last week, the second international CWIEME fair on laminations and rotors this year was held in Berlin. At this fair, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, we presented our innovative solutions in the area of laminations and rotors for electric motor drives of electric and hybrid vehicles.
